Hmm…

Well it doesn’t seem to be close to shipping at all. So I cancelled my order. I will just go to EB or something and buy it. Much quicker anyway and I don’t have to make the long journey to the post office since I will undoubtly not be home when it arrives. :)

Okay…my English midterm sucked.

I knew it was going to, but I just didn’t think that bad. The first part was 10 obscure quotes. I wasn’t expecting a quotes section. Second part was 15 true/false. I hate true/false. Third part: 25 short answer. The test was over six books. I knew three of them well, one of them okay, and two not at all. Guess what the majority of the short answer was? The two I didn’t know. Why does that always happen?

Well, on a happy note, I am all registered for classes now. I will be taking Comp Sci 311, 365 and 494 and Medieval Studies 202. Of course, that’s provided I pass all my classes this semester. ;) I’m actually looking forward to next semester for some odd reason. Perhaps it’s because Sims 2 comes out!! Which reminds me, Makin’ Magic came out today. Why hasn’t Amazon emailed me to say that it has shipped? Hmm…

I love gaim-blogger!

Okay, yay! It works!

There is a plugin for gaim that allows you to post to your blog from gaim. Uberuseful. :) Anyway, if you see anything weird on my webcam (like feet, the ceiling, etc.), I’m probably trying to show off something (like my new shoes) to someone, so don’t be alarmed. ;)

And I still have no plans for Halloween!

Hmm….

I decided to put my webcam back up for a little while. It’s the one built-in to my laptop, so if it’s not on that means that either (a) my laptop isn’t on, or (b) I’m in Linux. That’s one thing I haven’t gotten to work in Linux yet. I never could get my Quickcam to work either, though. So here’s the current picture. Just click on it to have a window that refreshes pop up.

So fall break is over.

It felt super short. Like a normal weekend. And I still need new shoes. And to read medieval studies stuff.

Well, the birthday countdown is on. 27 days. :) Not that I expect anything to happen. Except getting old.

I made brownies Saturday night, but one of my friends showed up and dragged me out of the apartment before I could eat any. By the time I finally got one, Sunday evening, they were cold. Cold brownies aren’t nearly as yummy. But they were still good.

I’m sitting in Claxton waiting for my next class. It doesn’t start for another hour and ten minutes. I really should have planned my schedule better this semester. In eight days I can register for next semester’s classes. That schedule will be better.

Is anyone out there having a Halloween party (preferably a costume party, but I will settle)??

I really want to have plans to do something this year instead of just sitting at home, realizing that I’m not getting any trick-or-treaters, and eating all of the candy I bought for them. I don’t want to be pathetic anymore! :) Even just going somewhere to watch dumb scary movies qualifies. Let me know.

Of course, as soon as I post that, my comments come back up.

They like me to look crazy, I think.

One month till my birthday!

I see my comments are down again. Not that it matters since no one leaves me comments anyway. You’d think since, on average, I get 10 unique visitors a day, one would leave a comment. :)

Anyway, my ebay auction just ended. It went for $30, which is more than I paid for it, so I’m happy.

It’s FALL BREAK! Yay! I am in desperate need of a four-day weekend, even if I am working Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. I actually need to spend this time catching up (starting?) on my medieval studies reading, since I have a test in a week.

I had a Diff Eq test today. The ONE thing I forgot to study was on there twice, of course. Why does that always happen? I think teachers are psychic. I ended up getting a C+ on my comp sci midterm. I haven’t decided if I am happy or upset. Before the test, I thought I was going to do horrid. After the test, I thought I did average. And I guess I did average, by definition. Except on my scale, average is a B or B+. So I don’t know.

I’ve been watching the Disney channel all night. I always forget I have it, since it just showed up on Comcast like a month ago. Still need Tech TV.

Everyone go sign up for the Social Network on Emode. It’s like Friendster, but better. :) And then add me to your friends list. :-D

Today I discovered that my full name is an anagram for “Crisis and fan of Jewel.” Hmm.

If I wasn’t selling that card on ebay, I would take it into the parking lot and beat it profusely with a hammer.

I can’t get my new Orinoco card to use the right drivers. Because now it wants to use the module that came with the driver for the other card. And it works, of course, but I can’t use Kismet with it. I don’t know why it won’t use the orinoco_cs module. I’ve spent way too long now trying to figure that out. And I have a feeling that now I have too much angry energy to get any real sleep tonight. Not to mention, I still have homework to do. BLAH. I need a hug.

Okay, so I decided to list it on Ebay.

If anyone wants it…

And an updated wardriving map. Let me know if you want to see a particular area up close.

I got my Orinoco card yesterday.

It works like a charm. No packet loss with this one! :) I guess I will end up selling the other one on ebay, although I haven’t quite decided yet.

Umm…not much else to talk about.

And now for another Foxtrot comic…

I’ve been a clothes shopaholic lately. Last week, I bought a pair of pinstripe pants, some jeans, and a pair of socks. Yesterday I got a gorgeous peacoat, and today I bought the most comfy robe ever and some, ahem, other things. I couldn’t resist. I try to go to the mall to browse for Christmas present ideas, and I end up buying clothes. Probably because I haven’t had new clothes in awhile. It feels good to be able to buy some new things.

Oh, and I finally bought an Orinoco card off ebay. It’s silver, not gold, but it should work well. Can’t wait to get it. :-D

Shhh…I’m in English.

Got some more Jewel pics from the Atlanta show. These were taken by Spark St. Jude. I have way too many to post here, so here’s some of the best ones.

Okay…back to taking notes…
