I need sleep.

It’s been a busy (but fun) last few days, and it seems that trend will continue throughout the week.

I’m going to mail Tera off after I get off work today. Frustrating, but necessary since she won’t even turn on anymore.

I saw Eternal Sunshine again last Friday. May be going to see it again soon. Such a great movie!

Jewel concert is on Wednesday! Yay! I will be taking my stealth cam to practice for the APC concert. I will be in the tenth row at this concert, so hopefully I can get some decent shots.

Going to Clarksville for the weekend.

Brina is coming to visit the weekend of the 23rd. Going to have another board game party, hopefully.

I’ve got a paper and a java program due on the 22nd. I need to find some time to work on those.

I have figured out what is wrong with me…

I was sitting on my sofa tonight, reading a book, and it suddenly occurs to me. I have a fear of commitment. Anytime I start to really like someone or I feel someone is getting too close to me, I start trying to push them away. This explains so much; I really don’t know why I never figured it out before. Hmm. Maybe I fear that if I start getting too close to someone, the same thing that happened in my last relationship will happen all over again. Maybe I still don’t trust myself.

What a horrible April Fool’s…

I get back from class today and open Tera up, like I always do. Except she doesn’t return from standby mode. She won’t do anything. She just sits there. Hitting the power button doesn’t do anything. I don’t know what to do. I can’t afford to ship her off again.

Exciting Jewel news!

Billboard put up an article on Jewel yesterday about her next album. Apparently, with all this solo touring she has been doing, she’s going to be making another acoustic album. Since Pieces of You is, by far, my favorite album of hers, this is really exciting to me. She’s always been best without all the band and back-up singers.

Another interesting tidbit in the article is this:

Soon Jewel says fans will be able to take home a true souvenir from her concerts: a live disc of the show they’ve just seen. “I never do a set list,” she says. “I talk a lot. Every show is so different night-to-night.

“I’m alone on stage for two hours with an audience and you can’t lose ‘em,” she continues. “You have to really stay in touch and keep them entertained with nothing but your guitar, and that takes a lot of skills. And I think if you did some sort of formatted generic set list you would just be completely leaving your audience behind.”

At present the plan only allows for sale of the discs at the venue on that night. “Right now we’re going to be selling it like a merchandise piece,” she says. “You know, you can order it at the beginning of a show and pick it up afterwards. Beyond that, I don’t know. There will probably be a demand for swapping shows and all that, but I’m not sure how that will work.”

That’s so awesome! I hope they are doing this when I see her in LESS THAN A WEEK!!!
