And now for another boring post….
School is going okay. Work is going okay. Life, in general, is going okay.
The release date for the new NIN album “With Teeth” was announced. It’s coming out May 3. Sims 2 University, the first expansion, is coming out March 1. The 9th season of Friends is coming out on dvd sometime in March as well. A new Mars Volta album, “Frances the Mute” is due out March 1. Audioslave is putting out a new album in June. And who knows when the new Tool album will be out?
Wired’s Nextfest is at the end of June, in Chicago this year, instead of San Francisco. While SF would be cooler to visit, Chicago is closer and maybe cheaper to get to.
Music Midtown and Bonnaroo are on the same dates this year. Mars Volta is going to be at Bonnaroo. Music Midtown hasn’t listed their artist lineup yet. Hmm.
Having a video game party for a change on Friday.

Well, school has begun…
It’s a little weird walking around campus now since I haven’t in so long. And buying books was a shock to my wallet, heh. But as for my classes….
CS 380, Theory of Computation - This is going to be without a doubt my hardest class. It’s building on Math 300 (remember that disaster?) and CS 311, which wasn’t too bad. Basically a lot of math theory relating to computer science. And something about Turing machines.
CS 365, Programming Languages and Systems - This one doesn’t seem like it will be too hard, but it’s not going to be a breeze either. We’re going to be doing a lot of Java programming, which I really have no clue about (still). The professor seems pretty cool, though, even if he did point out to the entire class that I was the only female in there, heh.
CS 494, Computer and Network Security - This is definitely going to be my favorite class. Seems more interesting than challenging. Just wish it wasn’t three hours long one day a week.

Not a whole lot going on…
Otherwise I’d update more often than I have been.
Classes start tomorrow, but I prefer not to think about that a whole lot.
I’ve got some things I need to do for Sabrina’s wedding. Like get my measurements done and pay for my dress before the end of the month, make her programs, write a toast, plan a bachelorette party, etc.
I have plans to redo some stuff on this site whenever I can find some time. Okay, time really isn’t the issue. I’m just lazy.
And the biggest news I have right now….Trent just finished the newest Nine Inch Nails album, the band is rehearsing, and tour dates are going to be announced “in the near future” according to the website. Yay! Now if only Tool would hurry up and finish their new one…

It’s 2005!
Yeah, I know I haven’t written anything in a super long time. I was going to make this great post with all these pictures from New Years, but all the pictures accidentally got deleted. Then I was going to make another great post with the one picture I did have (Kris holding up a sign that reads “I’m sooo sorry”) but I just haven’t found the time to do that yet, so this is all you’re getting.
New Years was pretty cool. Went to a party here in Knoxville, got mildly drunk, beat everyone at Texas Hold ‘Em, drank some champagne, then we drove to Crossville (not me, we had a DD, don’t worry). Unfortunately, we didn’t make it there before midnight (we got there about 12:03), but we almost had two New Years, hehe.
