Why me?

Okay, so yesterday I could barely move, which I figured was just me being sore from playing Twister this past weekend. So I took a long, hot bath to try to sooth my muscles. Except when I got out of the bath, I was really woozy and feeling faint. I laid down and tried to get some sleep, but I didn’t get much.

When I woke up this morning, I still felt bad. Still faint and a bit nauseated. But I made myself get up and study for my CS311 final that was at 12:30. As long as I didn’t stand up, I was fine. I went and took the test and came back. Still feel like crap. My throat is killing me (it better not be strep) and my muscles are still sore. I can’t tell if I have a fever. I would go buy a thermometer, but I really don’t feel like moving at all. I would say that I don’t feel overly warm, but not overly cool either, so I may have a slight one.

I hate being sick. Especially around finals. Hopefully it will only be like a 24-hour thing. Anyone want to come take care of me?

Well, I feel much better today! Apparently it was only some 24-hour thing. Yay!

I decided to be a rebel today and not wear green. I went black instead. Anyway, it seems I will be spending the rest of my St. Patty’s day studying for my 311 midterm that’s tomorrow morning. I already studied some a couple weeks ago when I didn’t know the date for it was changed, but yeah…I’ve slept since then. Must memorize formulas. This test shouldn’t be too bad. More worried about my medieval studies exam next Tuesday. I suppose I should go to class tomorrow.

Tera is in Nashville! She will be here sometime tomorrow.

Blah.

I would like to thank Steve for giving me whatever illness he had while I was in Indiana. I feel blah.

My new hair color is definitely growing on me. It’s a good summer look.

I think I’m gonna go dig through my refrigerator for some Sunny D and rewatch A Perfect Circle on Leno last night. My throat is killing me.

Okay, a couple things have gone on today…

First of all, I forgot that I had a doctor’s appointment at 11:00 this morning. I didn’t even get out of bed until 11:15. And it was around noon when I realized that OH YEAH, I was supposed to go to the doctor an hour ago. Oh well. I’m not really sick anymore. Just sniffley.

Second thing is, I’m gonna see A PERFECT CIRCLE and THE MARS VOLTA in concert!!!! I got tickets to the show in Indianapolis on April 17, which is the closest one at the moment. I’m hoping they come to Atlanta in May, but who knows if they will or if I will be in SanFran at that time, so I thought I should go ahead and go. YAY!!

Jewel is going to be in Asheville on April 7th. I haven’t decided if I am going to that yet or not. Tickets don’t go on sale until the 21st, so I don’t even know how much they are yet.

I am feeling better.

Yesterday, I woke up without neck pain, following the doctor’s instructions not to sleep on my stomach. So my sleep wasn’t as great, but the pain wasn’t there. I also didn’t feel any nausea. I did, however, seem to have come down with a cold or allergies or something because I was sniffling and sneezing all day. Anyway, I ended up going wardriving for an hour or two. Here is the map:

So, I will be going into work today. My head is still a little fuzzy, but I will be okay. I got a slight extension on my 494 lab, so I will be working on that today. Hmmm…don’t know if there is much else to say.

I need to start planning my SanFran trip. Tickets go on sale to Nextfest on March 1! Yay!

Well I went around 1:30.

First thing they did after I filled out a form was make me put on one of those silly masks in case I was contagious. I felt like I complete dork. And then I was so concerned with this that I left my purse out in the waiting room when I went back to the room to get checked out. Anyway, I don’t have meningitis, but I do have some sort of virus and I have strained my neck somehow. I got a lot of drugs from the doctor, and they make me feel a lot better. The two-hour nap I just took made me feel better too.

However, I just did some dishes from the party last weekend and EW. The pans that the enchiladas were cooked in smelled really, really gross. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to move them from the sink to the dishwasher. Somehow I made it though. Yeah, that was the grossest thing I have ever smelled in my life.

Tomorrow I am going to do absolutely nothing. I am supposed to be taking it easy, drinking lots of fluids, and eating nothing but crackers. Yet I really want a pizza.

Ugggh…

Going to the student health center sometime between 1 and 3:30. I really hope it’s nothing too serious. I still feel very much blah. I’m trying to decide right now whether I think I can make it into work today or not. I’m leaning towards not right now.

So, I’m sick.

I have to go to the doctor tomorrow. I may have meningitis or something. Stiff neck, headaches, nausea…no fever that I can tell, but it could happen. I went home after one class today. I just couldn’t sit there. I kept feeling like I was going to pass out.

I got a fire extinguisher today. The apartment complex was going around checking them, and I didn’t have one, so now I do. I haven’t used it yet, of course.

I’ve been kind of relaxing today. I can’t think too much because it makes my head hurt, but I did manage to whip up the random image thingy on the front page of my site. That’s the first PHP I’ve ever written by myself, and I’m rather proud of it.
